The SECOND PRINTING of Kim's book is available

The Title is “A sampler of Inventory Topics

(the five year supply of the first edition turned out to last only one year - who would have guessed ?)

The intended audience is measurement people who already know the basics and want more depth.
It covers Statistics, Variable Plot Sampling and 3P sampling in detail.
- The new printing is in a blue cover, rather than the original gray.

- Thanks to all of you that ordered copies - I hope you are finding them useful.

As before, the book is hardback, 869 pages, and if you wish you can download a
pdf file copy of individual chapter contents [279K]

Kim distributes the book himself, but cannot handle credit cards.
Send an email to order the book, with payment by check at your convenience.

-- QUESTIONS --
(1) Do you want a first edition ? Default is the second edition.
(2) Do you want it signed ? If so, to whom ?? Default is nothing written in the book.
(3) Do you want a receipt or invoice? (who should it be made out to?) Default – none sent
(4) What is your complete shipping address ?

The current cost is :
- - Canadian: $60 + $10 shipping = $70.00 Canadian
- - USA : $60 + $20 shipping = $80.00 US (Shipping has gone way up, and the US dollar down)
- - Other than the US or Canada, email for a quote on shipping cost.
Air mail is quick, but expensive - surface mail is the reverse.

- If you are coming to the Western Mensuration Conference, or a BC cruiser meeting
you can possibly pick up the book there, and save the shipping costs.

- A civilized alternative is to drop by the Nanaimo address,
have a glass of sherry in the library, and pick it up from the source.

Books will be sent with copies of any known errors noted on an additional inserted sheet of paper.

           Spreadsheets !! -
A few of the spreadsheets have had minor corrections, or changes. Some of these were caused by
protection issues which affect the macros. To get copies of the changes, please directly email me
This is just a precaution to prevent any virus transmission issues.
Those who do not buy the book are also welcome to these spreadsheets.

Changes have been made to :
XBAR.xls : program to generate samples
Strata.xls : program for stratified sampling computations
Relascop.xls : which displays BAFs for 4 types of Relasope scales
If you have version 4.0b or more, these changes are already made.
.....Before you use these or any other spreadsheet for important projects, check with me directly.
