Alix and her Links...

My family (photos) consists of Warren a bathtub racer, who placed third in his class in 2005, when he isn't doing tech support, Sarah who works at Coastal Community Credit Union and is the union rep there, Mat who is an aircraft maintenance engineer, and Jodi who is a legal assistant in Vancouver. And of course Bob, who competed in the Bathtub race every year, and got the rest of us all wrapped up in it as well. Bob retired after placing 5th in his class in '99.

My home is in Nanaimo City, British Columbia, Canada. We moved from Protection Island which is in the Nanaimo harbor, where we lived for years. It took less than 10 minutes to get downtown by boat. There isn't a car ferry, so everything had to be packed by hand. There are trees, eagles, harbor seals, herons and sealions. I can see the harbour from my new spot in town fortunately. I'll miss the boat rides across more during the summer than in the winter, that's for sure.
