Alternate Surnames List:

~ Australian Family Tree Connections, a monthly genealogy magazine published in Australia, has had a Huguenot Surnames Index online for over ten years now.

The Index has entries submitted by people living all over the world. Anyone can access the Index or submit surnames to it, free of charge. The only stipulation is that the surnames must be known or proven to be Huguenot in origin. New names are being added all the time so regular checks of this site are a good idea.

All new entries are published in the magazine each month and are then added to the web site which is at: http://www.aftc.com.au/Huguenot/Huguenot_surnames.html.

Please note that, if you submit surnames, your full postal and e-mail addresses are required. This is to enable those who do not have e-mail to respond if there is a family connection. However, only e-mail addresses are published on the web site.

~ The National Huguenot Society, a U.S.-based organization, has a List of Qualified Huguenot Ancestors on their web site. There are apparently acceptance criteria which must be met in order for surnames to be "qualified" for inclusion on this list.
