We are a new company based in Port Hardy B.C. All our products are hand tied locally and tested in local waters. Our most successful lure to date is the Googly Eyed Wild Thing, designed for sockeye, but also very effective on coho. The main body is a large bead with hootchie legs tied on. The white hootchie legs glow in the dark and both the white and pink are ultra violet. The hook used is a 4/0 Eagle Claw L183 bronze lazer sharp on thirty pound test Trilene Big Game line. This lure is most effective for sockeye when several are trolled or mixed with other pink and red gear. For the 1998 season we are introducing the Googly Eyed Chum Meister (5/0 Eagle Claw L194 black lazer sharp), Spring Thing (5/0 Mustad 92553), Coho Ho HO Wild Thing (4/0 Mustad 92553), and Deep Diver Wild Things (5/0 Mustad 92553). These are all tied with ultra violet components and the deep diver has a large glow bead head. We are now offering these lures with the most suitable colour O'ki flasher as pre-tied packages. In addition replacement hooks are available three to a bag.

In addition we have developed two series of trolled flies. The Spastic Needlefish is tied on a 3/0 O'Shaunessy stainless steel hook. It mimics the herring juveniles and small needle fish common in local waters from late June well into August. Available in nine colour combinations it offers selections to work in most waters. Trolled behind an eight inch dodger or small flasher (leader length is usually three time attractor length for coho and four times for spring), this lure is very effective for Coho. These flies are tied with bucktail.

The most recent lure is a soft epoxy bodied fly tied on a 4/0 stainless O'Shaunessy Eagle Claw or Mustad. This fly is very robust and can be trolled behind a dodger or by itself with a pearl spinner. Called the Zipper Fly it comes in three body colours with several colour combinations in each, designed for the different water conditions found through a days fishing. The gold body flies are for early morning or 'dirty water' (plankton bloom) conditions. Later in the day you switch to the silver bodied variants and on very bright days there are the pearl bodied flies. These flies are available in sets of three in our Fish Ammo line.
For halibut we offer a tie-up for spreader bar fishing. Two Mustad 6/0 92553 on fifty pound test line with a glow in the dark white hootchie above the top hook. We call it the "Bite Me Halibut Lure". If the bait is knocked off the lure keeps fishing. More often than not red snapper seem to bite the hootchie.

Several of our products are available as gift sets marketed in a 4 by 6 inch cedar 'ammo box'. There are two different selections of Zipper Flies (three to a box), two selections of Spastic needle fish (four to a box) and one with four different Googly Eyes. A new type of boxed set contains a Lil Shooter flasher and a matched Zipper Fly pre-tied ready to fish. The new box looks like the ammo box but is 3 by 9 inches. These boxed sets make a great gift for fathers Day.
