Escorted or Drop-off Camping; we can take you to anyone of several fantastic secluded locations in the newly created Vargas Island and Flores Island Provincial Parks for an unforgettable experience. Summer camping in Clayoquot Sound is unbelievably relaxing with very few bugs to pester you.

Rental camping supplies such as sleeping-bags and tents are available. Please remember that due to the sensitive nature of Clayoquot Sound, respectful 'no-trace' camping is strongly encouraged. Also, bring suitable clothing to guarantee your comfort.

Island Hiking; Challenge the trail to the top of Lone-Cone Mountain (723 metres), an extinct volcano on Meares Island with its spectacular view of Clayoquot Sound. Or if you prefer to have an adventure hiking along the Oceans edge, you might try exploring the secluded beaches and trails of Vargas Island. We can drop you off in the morning and pick you up later that day (or camp if you wish).
