'Kleco Kleco' (meaning "thankyou" and respectfully said twice) is a 26' (8 meter) ex-navy 'Whaleboat' originally utilized as a Lifeboat and crew transport. The term 'Whaleboat' is a vessel design that has been used for many years and is still regarded as an extremely capable hull design. She was designed to carry 20 sailors with gear, however Transport Canada limits us to 12 passengers, guaranteeing plenty of room for all (so you can bring the dog).

The boat has been updated for comfort, safety, hauling Kayaks, and ease of loading/off-loading. The boat is very eco-friendly, it travels at a slower less intrusive pace, requires little fuel, is quiet, and fully insured (including environmental protection). This allows guests to truly relax and enjoy Clayoquot Sound to its fullness. And if you'd like to "get behind the wheel" just ask.
