Cragmere's Silver Swan Token

Designed in 2000 CE

Front of the medallion Back of the medallion

This pewter piece is a replacement for the dog-luring elkhorn original; first casting, in a soapstone mold, was in 2000 CE; 32mm (1 1/4"). This particular piece is a flawed-in-the-casting piece kept for the record. The Swan is taken from the Shire Arms, and is accompanied by "C"; the reverse holds runes reading "Kjartan rules", and Halima's mark (an Arabic H enclosing a crescent). "The Arabic script beside it shows in reverse, because 'someone' forgot to flip the word after writing it." When Kjartan steps down, the mold will be changed.
