Hamill Indexing Services

Carol Hamill is a freelance, back-of-the book indexer who prepares indexes for general interest and academic books.
I am a member of the Indexing Society of Canada (ISC / SCI.) Information at my site includes: the indexers' job,
the process of indexing, the cost of hiring an indexer, indexing terminology and samples of my work.

I am currently involved in my local community with the Mount View Colquitz Community Association  in Saanich and as a volunteer at the Victoria inner-city drop-in centre Our Place.
I have participated in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a medieval recreation and research group but Ilimit myself to a small medieval dance group.
I continue to read index short works of speculative fiction published prior to 1970. I have made a thematic index of over 2000 short works of science fiction, examining ideas, invented words, and plot devices.
