Looking for skiing as it used to be? Visit the rugged mountain range of Northern Vancouver Island on Canada's West Coast. Enjoy a retreat amidst the snow capped peaks of Mt. Cain.

Mt. Cain is a 6,000 foot peak, and sits adjacent to Mt. Hapush and Mt. Abel. The Mt. Cain Alpine Park Society operates the Mt. Cain ski hill which is open from December until April of every year.

Snowdrift Chalet is a ski-in, ski-out log chalet on the slopes of Mt. Cain. Looking out of the window, you get a spectacular view overlooking adjacent Mt. Abel. Snowdrift Chalet includes three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room and wood fired sauna. Also included is a private generator, electric power, indoor composting toilet as well as outdoor washroom. It sleeps seven to nine comfortably and is within walking distance to the Mt. Cain lodge.

Located on Vancouver Island, Mt. Cain is a one and a half hour drive north of Campbell River. With its spectacular beauty, fabulous powder, and friendly, family atmosphere, Mt. Cain is an unforgettable winter experience.
