The Senior Chief Engineer inspects the hull of the ship during
the ship’s dry-docking.
The Senior Chief Engineer is responsible for the total
mechanical and electrical operation of the vessel in its entirety. The Senior Chief Engineer along with his team of Certificated Engineers constantly monitor the ship’s vital signs and perform a
continuous maintenance program to allow safe, efficient and reliable service from all the mechanical equipment on board. Part of this maintenance program is periodically taking the vessel out of the
water for a complete and thorough inspection and any subsequent repairs.
