Safety guidelines: We usually have faster and slower groups and designate a leader for each at the beginning of the walk. Leaders count the walkers and designate "sweeps" who will know who and where the last walkers are. Tell a leader if you want to leave the group. It's good to have a whistle or cell phone for emergencies. Tell new walkers about the guidelines.
