Sointula is located on Malcolm Island, reached by ferry service from Port McNeill on Vancouver Island. To reach Port McNeill from points south, please consult the map below.

The museum is located in the old Superior School Building on First Street in Sointula on Malcolm Island. You can reach Sointula by ferry four times a day from Port Mcneill. To reach the Superior School, either on foot or by car, turn left off the ferry and proceed three to four blocks to a bend in the road. The Superior School is located on the left (water side). Use the main entry. The building is shared by the museum and the local library.
