Mid Island Cruiser Boat Rentals is located in Campbell River, B.C., at the gateway to the breathtaking islands and inlets of the Discovery Passage. Campbell River is located right next door to Desolation Sound, the most popular boating destination on the British Columbia coast. The area provides excellent anchorages and plenty of warm water for swimming. You may expect to see whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions and a myriad of birds including bald eagles, which are regularly seen fishing in these waters. |

This map shows you the maze of island passages and inlets that fill the space between Campbell River, on Vancouver Island, and the BC mainland. (Click it for a larger view.) What it can't show is the spectacular scenery, with 2000 meter mountains (~6,000 feet) rising up from the fjord-like inlets. |
